Abstract:

Diplomová práce Historie kulturních domů a organizace kultury se zabývá historií a vývojem kulturních zařízení a organizace kultury od 2. poloviny 19. století až po současnost. Sleduje iniciativy, okolnosti vzniku a proměny funkce českých kulturně společenských zařízení v průběhu jednotlivých historických období. Práce popisuje podoby kulturních zařízení a jejich fungování od zakládání spolkových domů na konci 19. století přes centrálně plánované výstavby kulturních domů a jejich institucionalizaci v období socialismu i porevoluční transformace. Minulé přístupy porovnává se současnou praxí organizace regionální kultury, provozem kulturních domů a trendem kreativních center.

Abstract:

The thesis History of cultural houses and cultural organization deals with the history and development of cultural institutions and organization of culture from the second half of the 19th century to the present. It follows the initiatives, circumstances of the establishment and changes in the function of Czech cultural institutions during different historical periods. The work describes the forms of cultural houses and their functioning from the founding of community centres in the late 19th century through the centrally planned building of cultural houses and their institutionalization in the socialist period and the post-revolutionary transformations. It compares the past approaches with the current practice of organizing regional culture, the operation of cultural houses and the trend of creative centres.
