Comparison of the value orientation of contact center clients with clients of the aftercare center

Abstract:

Předkládaná bakalářská práce se zabývá srovnáním hodnotové orientace uživatelů klientů děčínského Kontaktního centra a děčínského Doléčovacího centra. Teoretická část je věnována pojmům hodnot a hodnotové orientace v interdisciplinární perspektivě, fenoménu závislosti na nelegálních návykových látkách, drogové politice v ČR a sociální práci poskytované uživatelům drog. Empirická část je založena na popisu a interpretaci kvantitativního šetření, které je realizováno pomocí Schwartzova hodnotového dotazníku (The Portrait Value Questionnaire, dále jen "PVQ"). Naším záměrem je porovnat hodnotovou orientaci dvou skupin klientů CSS Děčín, příspěvkové organizace, a to 30 klientů Kontaktního a poradenského centra pro drogově závislé a 30 klientů Děčínského doléčovacího centra. Tento dotazník umožňuje zjistit úroveň 10 základních hodnot ovlivňujících na širší interkulturní bázi lidské postoje a jednání, a to jak v individuálním, tak ve skupinovém měřítku. PVQ vychází z koncepce hodnot, kterou vypracoval a teoreticky odůvodnil izraelský sociální psycholog Shalom H. Schwartz. Výsledná data jsme zpracovali pomocí statistických nástrojů, které prokázaly, že z deseti zkoumaných hodnot pouze u jedné z nich nedošlo k potvrzení alternativní hypotézy. Preference hodnot byly vyšší u klientů KC.

Abstract:

The presented bachelor's thesis deals with a comparison of the value orientation of users of the Děčín Contact Center and the Děčín Remedial Center. The theoretical part is devoted to the concepts of values and value orientation in an interdisciplinary perspective, the phenomenon of addiction to illegal addictive substances, drug policy in the Czech Republic and social work provided to drug users. The empirical part is based on the description and interpretation of a quantitative survey, which is implemented using Schwartz's value questionnaire (The Portrait Value Questionnaire, hereinafter referred to as "PVQ"). Our intention is to compare the value orientation of two groups of clients of SSC Děčín, a contribution organization, namely 30 clients of the Contact and Counseling Center for Drug Addicts and 30 clients of the Děčín Retreatment Center. This questionnaire makes it possible to determine the level of 10 basic values influencing human attitudes and actions on a broader intercultural basis, both on an individual and group scale. The PVQ is based on the concept of values, which was developed and theoretically justified by the Israeli social psychologist Shalom H. Schwartz. We processed the resulting data using statistical tools, which proved that out of the ten investigated values, only one value did not confirm the alternative hypothesis. Value preferences were higher among CC clients.
