Práce se zabývá žánrem politické debaty v českém a britském politickém diskurzu. Zaměřuje se na koncepty individuality a kolektivity a zkoumá, jak jsou tyto koncepty v politických debatách vyjadřovány. Dále se zabývá identitami jednotlivců a skupin a vztahy mezi nimi, zkoumá rovněž významy, které jsou pomocí těchto konceptů vyjadřovány, a účely, jimž tyto koncepty slouží.
