Abstract:

Předkládaná rigorózní práce shrnuje dosavadní odbornou práci autorky, vztahující se k autekologii vodního hmyzu a využití tohoto typu informací pro aplikaci ve vodním hospodářství. Jsou představeny vlastní autorské nebo spoluautorské práce týkající se ekologických a biologických charakteristik druhů řádu Ephemeroptera a změn jejich rozšíření, které jsou doplněny o souhrnné informace k problematice tzv. species traits. Dále je v práci zahrnuta problematika plnění požadavků Rámcové směrnice o vodách, popsán vývoj hodnotících metod podle makrozoobentosu pro broditelné i nebroditelné toky České republiky a připojeny vlastní autorské či spoluautorské práce zabývající se metodami odběru vzorků. Závěrem je nastíněn budoucí směr a přístupy k hodnocení aktuálních problémů tekoucích vod na celoevropské úrovni.

Abstract:

The presented rigorosum thesis summarizes the previous professional work of the author, related to the autecology of water insects and to the application of this type of information in water management. The author’s and co-author’s own papers related to the ecological and biological attributes of the Ephemeroptera species and changes in their dispersal are introduced. They are also supplemented with a summary of information about the so-called species traits issues. Furthermore, the issue of compliance with the requirements of the Water Framework Directive is included in the thesis, as well as the development of macroinvertebrate assessment methods for wadeable and non-wadeable rivers in the Czech Republic is described, and the author’s and co-author’s own papers concerned with sampling methods are attached. Finally, future trends and approaches to the evaluation of current pan-European problems of running waters are outlined.
