The Relationship between a Teacher and a Pupil at Primary School in a 21st Century School

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá vztahem mezi učitelem a žákem školy 21. století. Teoretická část formuluje charakteristické rysy dnešního, na dítě orientovaného přístupu ve vzdělávání. Vymezuje charakteristiky učitele a žáka, poukazuje na jejich vzájemnou interakci a vystihuje její prostředky, tedy pedagogickou komunikaci a psychosociální klima školní třídy. Výzkumná část je realizována smíšenou výzkumnou strategií, pro výzkumnou metodu kvantitativní byl zvolen dotazník Questionnaire on Teacher Interaction (QTI) a pro kvalitativní výzkumnou metodu byla vybrána projektivní metoda sluníčkový diagram. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak posuzují žáci 1. stupně základní školy kvalitu vztahu mezi nimi a jejich třídním učitelem.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the relationship between teacher and pupil in the 21st century schools in Czech republic. The theoretical part formulates the characteristic features of today's children-oriented approach to education, defines the characteristics of the teacher and the pupil, points out their mutual interaction and describes its means, i.e. pedagogical communication and the psychosocial climate of the school classroom. The research part is carried out with a mixed research strategy, for the quantitative research the Questionnaire on Teacher Interaction (QTI) method was chosen and for the qualitative research the projective method of the sun diagram was chosen. The aim of this study is to find out how primary school pupils evaluate the quality of the relationship between them and their class teacher.
