Cílem této práce je prozkoumat jak je britská multikulturní společnost druhé poloviny dvacátého století zachycena v dílech Zadie Smith a Hanifa Kureishiho. Konkrétně jsou rozebrány jejich debutové romány, které jsou také z čísti autobiografické. Rozbor děl se zaměřuje na témata jako rasismus, kulturní identita, pocit sounáležitosti a společenská nerovnoprávnost. Dále je také zkoumán rozdíl v prožívání …moreAbstract:
The aim of this thesis is to analyse British multicultural society of the second half of the twentieth century the it is captured in the works of Zadie Smith and Hanif Kureishi. The focus is on the two debut novels by these authors, which are partly autobiographical.
