Educational styles and their application from the perspective of a contemporary family

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá výchovnými styly, které jsou uplatňovány v současné rodině, přičemž hlavní cíl práce se zaměřuje na výchovné styly podle typologického rozdělení autorky Baumrind. Teoretická část je rozdělena do tří stěžejních kapitol. V první kapitole si představíme oblast rodiny. V další kapitole si přiblížíme oblast výchovy. Poslední kapitola se věnuje konkrétním typologiím výchovných stylů pohledem tuzemských i zahraničních autorů. Praktická část diplomové práce se orientuje na výzkum, který probíhal prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření, přičemž byl použit dotazník Parental Authority Questionnaire - Revised, který má za úkol identifikovat výchovné styly pohledem rodičů.

Abstract:

The topic of this thesis is styles of upbringing applied in contemporary family. The aim of the thesis focuses on Bamrind's typology of styles of upbringing/education. Theoretical part consists of three main chapters. The first chapter discusses a family. Next chapter focuses on upbringing/education. Last chapter contains specific typologies of styles of upbringing/education according to perspective of local and foreign authors. Second part of the thesis focuses on the research with the use of a questionnaire survey. The Parental Authority Questionnaire - Revised was used in order to identify styles of upbringing/education in parent's perspective.
