Evaluation of tourism in the tourist region Koruna Vysočiny

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá zhodnocením cestovního ruchu v turistickém regionu Koruna Vysočiny. Cílem práce je analyzovat současný stav cestovního ruchu v daném regionu a navrhnout možnosti pro jeho další rozvoj a zlepšení. V teoretické části jsou popsány klíčové teoretické základy, které slouží jako východisko pro vypracování práce. Druhá část se zaměřuje na charakteristiku destinační společnosti z geografického a organizačního hlediska, stejně jako na stávající turistickou infrastrukturu a nabídku atrakcí a jejího dopadu na území. Polostrukturované rozhovory byly vedeny s představiteli destinační společnosti a jejich partnery. Na základě získaných dat jsou v závěrečné části navržena doporučení, včetně zlepšení propagace destinace a podpory udržitelného turismu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of tourism in the tourist region of Koruna Vysočiny. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the current state of tourism in the region and to propose options for its further development and improvement. The theoretical part outlines the key theoretical foundations that serve as a basis for the thesis. The second part focuses on characterizing the destination organization from both geographical and organizational perspectives, as well as on the current tourist infrastructure and attraction offerings and their impact on the area. Semistructured interviews were conducted with representatives of the destination organization and their partners. In the concluding section based on the acquired data are proposed recommendations, including improvements to destination promotion, and support for sustainable tourism.
