Analysis of the costs items in the selected transport company

Abstract:

Tématem této bakalářské práce je „Analýza nákladových položek ve vybrané dopravní společnosti“. Za dopravní společnost je vybrána firma CN Cargo spol. s.r.o. podnikající v oblasti mezinárodní a vnitrostátní kamionové dopravy jako dopravce. Cílem je analyzovat nákladové položky firmy v letech 2010 – 2014. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na dvě části. Část teoretickou a část aplikační. V teoretické části pod kapitolou literární rešerše a úvod do problému jsou charakteristika nákladů, členění nákladů a definice analýz. Ve stejné části jsou dále kapitoly výzkumný problém a metodika práce. Aplikační část zahrnuje obecné údaje o firmě, horizontální analýzu nákladů, vertikální analýzu nákladů, druhově rozčleněné náklady, klasifikační analýzu nákladů, analýzu kritického bodu rentability a informační systémy sledující náklady, které firma využívá. Na závěr této práce jsou navrženy možnosti snížení nákladů firmy za pomoci výsledků z aplikační části.

Abstract:

The topic of this bachelor thesis is "Analysis of costs in chosen transport company". The name of the chosen transport company is CN Cargo Ltd. that runs a business in branch of international and domestic haulage like a carrier. The aim of my thesis is to analyze the costs of the company from the year 2010 till 2014. The bachelor thesis is divided into 2 parts - theoretical and application. In the theoretical part you can find not only chapter with the literary research and introduction of the problem but also characterization and structure of the costs and definition of analysis. The same part contains chapters named the research problem and work methods. The application part includes general information about the firm, the horizontal and vertical costs analysis, the costs separated according to kinds, the classification analysis of costs, the analysis of critical point of profitability and information systems, which follow costs used by the firm. In the end there are suggested some options of decreasing costs of the company with the aid of application part results.
