Communication Problems of Hearing Children and Deaf their Parents

Abstract:

Má bakalářská práce je zaměřena v prvé řadě na život neslyšících od dětství až po jejich dospělost. Zabývám se tématem, jak se neslyšící učí mluvit a číst, což se týká také toho, jak je potřeba upravit text nebo knihu, aby jí dítě a následně i dospělý neslyšící správně porozuměl. V neposlední se v práci zabývám průběhem integrace žáků se sluchovým postižením od úrovně mateřské školy, poté i do škol základních a vyšších typů a následně do zaměstnání, což se pojí s tím, jaké možnosti vůbec mají neslyšící v kariérovém uplatnění na trhu práce. Velmi důležité jsou také současné pokroky v medicíně, na které rozhodně nemohu ve své práci zapomenout. Praktická část je postavena na dotazníkovém šetření a je zaměřena zejména na pro-blémy v komunikaci neslyšících rodičů se svými slyšícími potomky. Např. jakou formu komunikace v rodině používají, jestli se u dětí vyskytují častěji potíže ve škole v souvislosti s českým jazykem...

Abstract:

My bachelor thesis is primarily focused on the life of the deaf from their childhood to their adulthood. I also deal with the subject of how the deaf learn to speak and read, which also applies on how the books and texts need to be edited in order that a deaf child and then adult properly understands them. Last but not least, I would like to mention the integration of the pupils with hearing impairment in the kindergarten, then in school and subsequently in the employment. Regarding the employment of the deaf, I deal with the career options they have on the labor market. Current advances in medicine are very important as well and I cannot omit them. The practical part is based on a survey. It focuses on the problems in communication between the deaf parents and their hearing children. For instance, what form of communication does the family use, whether these children have more widespread problems with the Czech language at school...
