Bakalářská práce se věnuje aplikacím ve využívání alternativních plynných paliv ve spalovacích motorech, přičemž hlavní pozornost je soustředěna na bioplyn, a to z hlediska jeho výroby, fyzikálních a chemických vlastností a jeho použitím v pístových spalovacích motorech kogeneračních jednotek a dopravních prostředků.
