Abstract:

Abstrakt diplomové práce Obezita v projektivních metodách Kresba postavy a Baum test a ve fiktivním příběhu Alice Čapková, učo: 344006 Cílem výzkumu bylo stanovení typických diagnostických znaků v projektivních metodách Kresba postavy a Kresba stromu u dětí s diagnózou obezita, s ohledem na jejich emoční, vývojové a sociální významy. Výzkum byl proveden na vzorku 63 obézních a 65 neobézních dětí ve věku 11 – 18 let. Při vyšetření byla dětem nejprve zadána Kresba postavy, následně Kresba stromu. Poté bylo provedeno inquiry k oběma kresbám. V sesbíraném výzkumném materiálu jsme nejprve vytipovali znaky, v kterých by se mohly kresby obézních a neobézních dětí lišit. U těchto položek jsme kvantifikovali jejich výskyt v obou skupinách. Položky, kde vyšel významný rozdíl, jsme dále kvalitativně rozebrali a určili, co by tyto rozdíly mohly znamenat. Šetření jsme provedli na celých skupinách a také ve vztahu k pohlaví a věku respondentů. V Kresbě postavy se obézní a neobézní děti lišily v množství nakreslených detailů, tvaru trupu, kvalitě napojení jednotlivých částí těla, v přítomnosti defektu, v kresbě očí, v přítomnosti uší, obočí, řas, zubů, v tvaru a přítomnosti krku, v znázornění nohou, ve zpracování prstů. V Kresbě stromu se obézní a neobézní děti lišily ve velikosti kresby, v použitých liniích, rozměru větví, tvaru větví, přítomnosti kořenů, množství nakreslených detailů, dalších doplňcích. Při kvalitativním rozboru rozdílů jsme došli k těmto závěrům: obézní děti mají větší problém s přijetím vlastního těla než neobézní děti, trpí více nízkým sebevědomím a pocity nejistoty, mají větší problémy s komunikací a cítí se ve vztazích nejistě, neumějí se prosadit, mají horší rodinné zázemí a slabší vůli. U kreseb jsme porovnávali také inquiry. Inquiry se lišily především v bohatosti. Neobézní děti byly tvořivější a nápaditější v popisu postav i v tématech, více toho vymyslely. Témata se u neobézních dětí týkala více vztahů a pocitů spojených s postavením jedince ve společnosti. Obézní děti popisovaly postavy stručně a více se držely situačních témat. Studii chápu jako pilotní a výsledky jako orientační. Pro další výzkum bych doporučovala: (i) více vyhodnocovatelů, (ii) připojit další šetření - dotazníky, rozhovor, (iii) v porovnávací skupině děti z více různých prostředí Naše práce alespoň malým dílem přispívá k prozkoumání problematiky projevů obezity v projektivních technikách Kresba postavy a Kresba stromu u dětí školního věku zatím málo prozkoumána. Přitom obézních dětí v populaci přibývá a kresebné projektivní techniky lze v v diagnostice dětí dobře využít.

Abstract Obesity display in projective tests - the Draw-A-Person Test, the Baum Test and fictional narrative Alice Čapková, učo: 344006 The aim of this research was to define typical diagnostic criteria for two projective tests, the Draw-A-Person Test and the Baum test. Research focused on school-age children with the diagnosis of obesity. We considered their emotional, developmental and social relevancies. Research was done on sample of 63 obese and 65 non-obese children in age 11 to 18. In the first part of the examination were children supposed to draw a person and then a tree. After there was an inquiry about the drawings. In gathered up research material we first distinguished criteria that could be different between obese and non-obese groups. The items which showed significant differences were studied closer and we tried to define meaning of these differences. The survey was done on whole groups and also with consideration of sex and age of respondents. In the Draw-A-Person test were found differences in following criteria: number of drawn details, shape of trunk, quality of attachment between body parts, presence of defects, ayes, presence of ears, eyebrows, eyelashes, teeth, shape and presence of neck and depiction of legs and fingers. In the Baum test were found differences in following criteria: size of drawing, used lines, size of branches, shape of branches, presence of roots, number of drawn details and other extra parts of the picture. Through qualitative analysis of the differences we formed these endings: obese children have a bigger problem in accepting their own body than non-obese children; they suffer with low self-esteem and with feeling of uncertainty; they have bigger problems with communication and they feel insecure in relationships; they can´t stand up for themselves; they have worse family background and weaker will. We also compared the inquiries with respondents. Non-obese children were more creative and inventive in description of figures and topics. They had more ideas. Their topics circled around relationships and feelings associated with position of individual in society. Obese children described the figures more briefly and they hold on to situational topics. I take my research a as pilot study and the endings as indicative. For further research I would recommend following: (1) to have more people who evaluate drawings; (2) To use more questioners and interviews; (3) To have children from wider range of backgrounds. Our research helps a little bit to explore the manifestation of children obesity in projective tests the Draw-A-Person Test and the Baum Test. This area of study is not yet fully explored in spite of fact that number of obese children in our society is growing and projective drawing tests could be well used in diagnosis.
