Risks and specifics of burnout syndrom by members of Regional operational and informational center of Fire Rescue Service in Czech Republic

Abstract:

Souhrn: Bakalářská práce se zabývá syndromem vyhoření u příslušníků Krajských operačních středisek Hasičského záchranného sboru České republiky. Teoretická část popisuje seznámení s pojmem, definici a historii pojmu a jeho příčiny, diagnostiku, příznaky a možnosti prevence. Dále představuje Hasičský záchranný sbor a popisuje také náplň služby u profese operátora tísňové linky 150/112 a operačního technika a důstojníka. V empirické části jsou analyzovány výsledky dotazníkového šetření nestandardizovaného dotazníku a standardizovaného dotazníku Maslach Burnout Inventory, který se týká míry syndromu vyhoření u daných služebních pozic.

Abstract:

Summary: The bachelor's work deals with burnout phenomenon among dispatchers on the local Firefighter line (150) and Emergency line (112) and operational technicians and officers in Regional Operational and Information Centres of the Fire Brigade in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part defines a burnout syndrome, its symptoms, stages, the difference between burnout and stress and shows ways of prevention. It introduces the Czech Republic Fire Brigade, it also describes the work of emergency line dispatchers and the work of operational technicians and officers. The research part analyses results of both, non-standardized questionnaire and the standardized Maslach Burnout Inventory questionnaire which relates to the rate of burnout syndrome among the above mentioned ranks.
