Support Techniques Used by Social Workers in SOS Children´s Villages

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na podpůrné techniky používané sociálními pracovníky v SOS dětských vesničkách. V teoretické části jsou představeny SOS dětské vesničky, jejich vývoj a historie, náhradní rodinná péče - pěstounská péče, poručenství s osobní péčí, doprovázení pěstounských rodin a vybrané podpůrné techniky. Stanoveným cílem výzkumné části bylo popsat mechanismy, které hrají roli při používání podpůrných technik sociálními pracovníky v SOS dětských vesničkách. Výzkum měl kvalitativní charakter a pomocí metody hloubkových polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s pěti respondenty za využití designem zakotvené teorie bylo zjištěno, že nejdůležitějšími mechanismy, které vstupují do práce s technikami jsou kompetence a osobní zkušenosti pracovníků s podpůrnými technikami, vztah pracovníků k podpůrným technikám a odezvy od klientů.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on support techniques used by social workers in SOS children's villages. In theoretical part there is an introduction of SOS Children's Villages like their developmnet and history, substitute family care - foster care, guardianship with personal care, accompanying foster families and selected support techniques. The set goal of research part of the thesis was to describe the mechanisms that play a role in the use of support techniques by social workers in SOS Children's Villages. The research was qualitative and using method of in-depth semi-structured interviews with five respondents using the theory grounded in the design, the outcome of the research was that the most important mechanisms that enter the work with techniques are the competence and personal experience of workers with support techniques, the relationship of workers to support techniques and responses from clients.
