Implementation of CSR Programs in a Selected Company

Abstract:

Předmětem této bakalářské práce je implementace CSR programů ve vybraném podniku. První část teoretického celku je věnována základnímu popisu společenské odpovědnosti včetně definic CSR, historie v Evropě a v České republice. Práce dále pokračuje popisem implementace společenské odpovědnosti, jejího hodnocení a komunikace, na kterou je často odkazováno v praktickém bloku. Teoretická část je zakončena příbuznými koncepty CSR jako je firemní občanství nebo firemní filantropie. Praktická část se zabývá popisem a analýzou konkrétního postupu společenské odpovědnosti ve firmě RWE. Nejprve je představena společnost a to jak v Evropě, tak následně i v České republice. Poté jsou podrobně analyzovány a popsány konkrétní formy společensky odpovědného chování v rámci celé Skupiny RWE, které byly rozděleny do třech základních pilířů CSR. Samostatnou kapitolou byla pak analýza firemního dobrovolnictví. Dle názoru autora je to jedna z nejlépe zpracovaných forem společenské odpovědnosti v RWE. Na závěr této práce jsou shrnuty výsledky předchozí analýzy včetně doporučení pro odpovědné pracovníky, které by mohly být v budoucnu implementovány ve společnosti RWE.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the implementation of CSR program in the selected company. The first part of the theoretical unit is dedicated to a description of CSR, definitions of CSR and its history in Europe and in the Czech Republic. The following part of the thesis describes the CSR implementation, its evaluation and communication. The communication is also often mentioned in the practical part of the thesis. The theoretical part ends with related CSR concepts as corporate citizenship or corporate philanthropy. The practical part describes analysis of a concrete CSR procedure in the company RWE. Firstly, the company is introduced in both; Europe and the Czech Republic. Thereafter, detailed analyses of concrete forms of CSR behaviour are described within the whole RWE Group. These forms are divided into triple botton line. A separate charter is dedicated to a corporate citizenship in RWE. Author´s opinion is, this form of CSR is one of the best processed forms of CSR in the RWE. The thesis ends with a summary of previous analysis output and includes some of the recommendations for responsible staff, which might be implemented in the company RWE in the near future.
