První kroky v internacionalizaci startupů: Případ vývoje lyonského start-upu ve Švýcarsku

Abstract:

Tato práce si klade za cíl prozkoumat výzvy a příležitosti prvních kroků v internacionalizaci start-upů, společností s omezenými lidskými a finančními zdroji, pomocí studie případu start-upu v regionu Lyon. Po literárním přehledu o různých metodách výběru země internacionalizace, různých fázích internacionalizace a o překážkách a kritériích úspěchu jsme metodologii aplikovali na společnost Meanwhile. Výsledky těchto metod ukázaly, že Švýcarsko je pro začínající společnost slibným trhem, ale že překážky, jako jsou kulturní a regulační rozdíly, by mohly bránit jejímu rozvoji. V důsledku toho byla navržena doporučená vstupní strategie, která zohlednila omezené zdroje start-upu a zvláštnosti švýcarského trhu na základě rozhovorů s odborníky na rozvoj podnikání na švýcarském trhu. Tato disertační práce tak nabízí podněty k zamyšlení pro začínající podniky, které se chtějí rozvíjet v mezinárodním měřítku s omezenými zdroji, zejména na švýcarském trhu, a také pro odborníky a výzkumníky, kteří se zajímají o internacionalizaci začínajících podniků.

Abstract:

This thesis aims to explore the challenges and opportunities of the first steps in the internationalization of start-ups, companies with limited human and financial resources, by studying the case of a start-up in the Lyon region. After a literature review on the different methods of choosing the country of internationalization, the different stages of internationalization and on the obstacles and success criteria, we applied the methodology to the company Meanwhile. The results of these methods showed that Switzerland was a promising market for the start-up, but that obstacles such as cultural and regulatory differences could hinder its development. As a result, a recommended entry strategy was proposed, which took into account the limited resources of the start-up and the peculiarities of the Swiss market, based on interviews with business development professionals in the Swiss market. This dissertation thus offers food for thought for start-ups wishing to develop internationally with limited resources, more particularly on the Swiss market, as well as for professionals and researchers interested in the internationalization of start-ups.

Abstract:

Ce mémoire a pour objectif d’explorer les défis et les opportunités des premiers pas de l’internationalisation des start-ups, entreprises avec des ressources humaines et financières limitées, en étudiant le cas d’une start-up de la région lyonnaise. Après une revue de littérature sur les différentes méthodes de choix du pays d’internationalisation, les différentes étapes de l’internationalisation et sur les freins et critères de succès, nous avons appliqué la méthodologie à l’entreprise Meanwhile. Les résultats de ces méthodes ont montré que la Suisse était un marché prometteur pour la start-up, mais que des obstacles tels que les différences culturelles et réglementaires pouvaient entraver son développement. En conséquence, une stratégie d'entrée recommandée a été proposée, qui a pris en compte les ressources limitées de la start-up et les particularités du marché suisse, sur la base d’interviews de professionnels du développement d’entreprise sur le marché Suisse. Ce mémoire offre ainsi des pistes de réflexion pour les start-ups qui souhaitent se développer à l'international avec des ressources limitées, plus particulièrement sur le marché Suisse, ainsi que pour les professionnels et les chercheurs intéressés par l'internationalisation des start-ups.
