Operation Allied Force in just war theory context
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zabývá leteckou kampaní vedenou na jaře 1999 Severoatlantickou aliancí proti cílům v Jugoslávii. Daná akce je zkoumána z pohledu teorie spravedlivé války. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda aspekty operace Spojenecká síla odpovídají kritériím spravedlivé války a zásah tedy může být z hlediska teorie považován za legitimní.
Abstract:
This thesis deals with the air campaign in spring 1999 against targets in Yugoslavia, which was led by NATO. The operation is examined from the just war theory perspective. The aim is to determine, whether aspects of the Operation Allied Force correspond with the just war criteria and intervention can therefore be considered in terms of theory as legitimate.
