Education of women about nutrition in the puerperium

Abstract:

Cíl: Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce bylo vytvoření edukačního plánu o výživě žen v období šestinedělí. Edukační proces zahrnoval fázi posouzení, diagnostiku, plánování, realizaci a poslední fázi vyhodnocení. Dílčím cílem edukace bylo vytvoření edukační brožury obsahující základní a potřebné informace o kojení v šestinedělí, o výživě ženy v šestinedělí a o stravování žen v šestinedělí. Edukační brožura byla klientkám rozdána při prováděné edukaci o výživě žen v šestinedělí. Metodika: Edukace proběhla na oddělení šestinedělí ve Vítkovické nemocnici v Ostravě a ve Fakultní nemocnici v Ostravě pomocí vstupního znalostního testu a rozhovoru s klientkami, a následně pak tři měsíce po provedené edukace prostřednictvím výstupního znalostního testu. Na základě splnění základních stanovených kritérií se edukace zúčastnily čtyři klientky. Edukace byla zrealizována v jeden den na oddělení šestinedělí v obou nemocnicích v předem stanoveném čase, který byl vyhovující všem klientkám. Edukaci tvořily celkem tři edukační jednotky. Všechny čtyři klientky i obě nemocnice souhlasily s provedením edukace na oddělení šestinedělí. Výsledky: Prostřednictvím vstupního znalostního testu a rozhovoru s klientkami byly zjištěny deficitní znalosti z oblasti stravy žen v šestinedělí. Na základě zjištěných informací byly stanoveny ošetřovatelské diagnózy a sestaven edukační plán. Závěr: Na základě informací získaných od klientek bylo zjištěno, že edukace žen v šestinedělí je důležitá k nabytí informací o výživě v období šestinedělí. Edukace je neoddělitelnou součástí péče porodní asistentky a patří mezi základní kompetence porodní asistentky.

Abstract:

Aim: The main aim of the bachelor thesis was the creation of the educational plan about nutrition in the puerperium. The educational process included the phases of the assessment, diagnostic, realization, and final phase of evaluation. The partial educational goal was the design of the educational brochure, which contains the basics and the necessary information about breastfeeding in the puerperium, about nutrition in the puerperium and about eating in the puerperium. The educational brochure was given to the clients during conducted education about nutrition in the puerperium. Methodology: The education took place in the puerperium department in the Vítkovice hospital in Ostrava, and University Hospital Ostrava thank the entranced knowledge test and the dialogue, and the output test followed three months after the entranced test. The four women participated on the basics of meeting the set criteria. The education was realized in the puerperium department of both hospitals during one day in the predetermined time, which was suitable for all clients. The education was formed by the three educational units. All four clients and both hospitals agreed with the education in the puerperium department. Results: There were found insufficient knowledge from the field of women's eating in the puerperium via the entranced test and dialogue with the clients. There were established the nursing diagnosis and drawn up the educational plan on the basics of the founded information. Conclusion: There was found on the basics of the gained information from the clients, that the education of the women in the puerperium is important for acquiring the information about the nutrition in the puerperium. The education is inseparable parts of the midwives' care and belongs between the elementary competence of midwives.
