Critical thinking and its methods in teaching homeland studies at primary school

Abstract:

V diplomové práci se zabýváme metodami kritického myšlení na 1. stupni základní školy. V teoretické části popisujeme, co je výuková metoda a jaké metody výuky existují. Dále jsou zde blíže popsány metody inovativní a nové. Mezi ty se řadí mimo jiné i metody kritického myšlení, které jsou hlavním tématem této diplomové práce. V praktické části se zaměřujeme na pedagogický výzkum efektivity využití metod kritického myšlení v předmětu vlastivěda v 5. ročníku základní školy. Zkoumali jsme dvě páté třídy základní školy Aléská v Bílině. První třída podstoupila 3 výukové hodiny podle metod kritického myšlení. Do výuky druhé třídy jsme nezasahovali. Poté obě třídy vyplnily stejný didaktický test. Výsledky těchto testů jsou zpracovány pomocí tabulek a následně vyhodnoceny.

Abstract:

In the diploma thesis, we deal with methods of critical thinking in the 1st grade of elementary school. In the theoretical part, we describe what a teaching method is and what teaching methods exist. Furthermore, innovative and new methods are described here in more detail. These include, among others, methods of critical thinking, which are the main topic of this thesis. In the practical part, we focus on pedagogical research on the effectiveness of the use of critical thinking methods in the subject of national studies in the 5th year of elementary school. We examined two fifth classes of the Aléská elementary school in Bílina. The first class underwent 3 teaching hours according to the methods of critical thinking. We did not interfere with the teaching of the second grade. Then both classes completed the same didactic test. The results of these tests are processed using tables and then evaluated.
