Analysis and potential for development of tourism in the region Vysočina.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na mapování a možnosti rozvoje cestovního ruchu v oblasti kraje Vysočina. Cílem práce je analyzovat/interpretovat situaci v daném regionu a navrhnout potencionální možnosti rozvoje na regionální úrovni. Jako metoda práce je zvolena analýza materiálů a dotazníkové šetření. Teoretická část vysvětluje nejprve pojem cestovní ruch, poté se zabývá motivy účasti na cestovním ruchu, formami, druhy, aktéry a předpoklady rozvoje cestovního ruchu obecně. Dále je proveden krátký historický exkurz cestovního ruchu, jsou popsány strategické dokumenty rozvoje cestovního ruchu (na národní i krajské úrovni). Ve druhé části práce jsou charakterizováni aktéři a předpoklady rozvoje cestovního ruchu v kraji Vysočina. Nedílnou součástí je i dotazníkové šetření na úrovni okresu a jeho následné vyhodnocení. Poslední část obsahuje SWOT analýzu vytvořenou na základě zjištěných informací a doporučení pro další rozvoj cestovního ruchu v kraji.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on mapping and possibilities of tourism development in the Vysočina Region, Czech Republic. The aim of the work is to analyse the situation in the given region and propose the potential opportunities of development at the regional level. As a method of work, a material analysis and questionnaire survey are selected. The theoretical part first explains the term tourism, then it deals with the motives for participation in tourism, form, types, providers and preconditions for development of tourism in general. Furthermore, a short historical excursion of tourism is carried out, the strategic documents of tourism development are described (at a national and regional levels). In the second part of the thesis, the providers and preconditions of the further development of tourism in the Vysočina Region are characterised. An important part is a questionnaire survey at the regional level and its subsequent evaluation. The last part contains SWOT analysis based on the found information and recommendations for further development of tourism in the region.
