Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá srovnáním anglických, ruských a českých idiomatických výrazů, které obsahují slovo kočka. Základní srovnávací materiál obsahuje třicet osm anglických idiomů. Cílem práce bylo zjistit, zda je více podobných idiomů mezi anglickým a českým jazykem nebo anglickým a ruským jazykem. This thesis deals with comparison of English, Czech and Russian idiomatic expressions which contain the word cat in them. The basic material for comparisons consists of thirty-eight English idioms. The aim of the thesis was to find out whether there are more similar idioms between English and Russian or between English and Czech.
