Mental hygiene as a burnout prevention in primary school teachers

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce s názvem „Psychohygiena jako prevence syndromu vyhoření u pedagogických pracovníků ZŠ“ popisuje problematiku syndromu vyhoření u pedagogických pracovníků na základních školách. Hlavním cílem této práce je zjistit, jaké používají psychohygienické techniky či strategie, pomocí nichž se vyrovnávají s pracovní zátěží a stresem, a jak souvisí věk či délka praxe s psychickou vyčerpaností u pedagogů. Tato práce je rozdělena na dvě části, a to na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části se tato práce zabývá především historií, příčinami, příznaky a prevencí syndromu vyhoření v kontextu psychohygieny. Základem praktické části je smíšený výzkum, tudíž kvantitativní i kvalitativní. Pomocí metody dotazníku a rozhovoru byly získány a následně zkoumány potřebné informace, díky kterým jsme mohli zjistit, jaké mají představy o ideální psychohygienické péči a jak se dokáží vyrovnat se stresem.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis entitled "Psychohygiene as prevention of burnout syndrome in primary school teachers" describes the issue of burnout syndrome in primary school teachers. The main goal of this work is to find out what psycho-hygienic techniques or strategies they use to cope with workload and stress and how age or length of practice is related to mental exhaustion in teachers. This work is divided into two parts, the theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, this work deals mainly with the history, causes, symptoms and prevention of burnout in the context of psychohygiene. The basis of the practical part is mixed research, therefore quantitative and qualitative. Using the method of questionnaire and interview, the necessary information was obtained and subsequently examined, thanks to which I was able to find out what ideas they have about ideal psychohygienic care and how they can cope with stress.
