V posledních letech se v kinech s velkým úspěchem pravidelně objevují filmová zpracování komiksových příběhů. Jedním ze studií, které se na tyto filmy specializuje, je studio Marvel. Filmy tohoto studia tvoří jeden ucelený fikční svět, ovšem jejich zpracování a divácké ohlasy naznačují, že z hlediska žánru se jedná o filmy velmi různorodé. In recent years we observed big succes of Marvel studios which shooted many movies based on the comic books. These movies created one fictional world, but the audience perception suggests that they differs in film genre. Therefore they represent good sample for genre analysis.
