Physiotherapy for unilateral sports load

Abstract:

Úvod: Ve své bakalářské práci se zabývám problematikou svalových dysbalancí u sportovce s jednostrannou sportovní zátěží, a to u hráče florbalu. Florbal je sport, který poslední dobou nabírá na své popularitě, avšak ne vždy se dbá na kompenzaci tohoto jednostranného sportu. Proto často vznikají svalové dysbalance, které mohou být později predispozicí pro zranění hráče. Cíl práce: Cílem mojí bakalářské práce je přispět k řešení problematiky jednostranné sportovní zátěže, konkrétně u florbalu, a to volbou vhodných fyzioterapeutických metod, konceptů a postupů. Metodika: Ve své práci jsem zvolila metodu kazuistiky. Mým probandou je 22letý poloprofesionální hráč florbalu. Anamnéza byla odebrána formou rozhovoru, při kineziologickém rozboru jsem využila aspekci, antropometrii, goniometrii a testování. Na základě výsledků jsem stanovila krátkodobý fyzioterapeutický plán, který využívá zejména koncepty ACT, DNS, PNF, PIR, MOB a Brüggerův koncept. S pacientem jsme se vídali jednou týdně, celkem jsem realizovala 7 intervencí po dobu 7 týdnů, vždy na cca 45 min. Na každé terapii jsme se s pacientem také domluvili, co by bylo vhodné zařadit do tréninku a jaké cvičení a pomůcky může doma využívat jako autoterapii. Týden po poslední terapii byl proveden výstupní kineziologický rozbor a na základě výsledků sestaven individuální dlouhodobý fyzioterapeutický plán. Výsledky: Výsledky ukazují, že se úspěšně podařilo ovlivnit svalové dysbalance (zkrácené a hypertonické svaly) a posilnit HSSP. Změny byly patrné i u vyšetření dynamiky páteře, kde se podařilo zmírnit velkou stranovou asymetrii z 8 na 6 cm. Za významný pozitivní výsledek považuji také odstranění bolestí zad a pravého lokte. Závěry: V této práci byly splněny stanovené cíle i úkoly práce. Byla sepsána teoretická analýza se shrnutím odborné literatury, provedeny vstupní, výstupní kineziologické rozbory a kontrolní hodnocení vybraných parametrů. Díky fyzioterapeutické intervenci došlo u pacienta k ovlivnění bolesti a zlepšení jeho stavu.

Abstract:

Introduction: In my bachelor's thesis, I deal with the issue of muscle imbalances in an athlete with unilateral sports load, namely a floorball player. Floorball is a sport that has been growing in popularity lately, but not always care is taken to compensate for this one-sided sport. Therefore, muscle imbalances often arise, which can later be a predisposition for player injuries. The objective: The aim of my bachelor's thesis is to contribute to solving the problem of unilateral sports load, specifically in floorball, by choosing suitable physiotherapeutic methods, concepts and procedures. Methodology: I chose the casuistry method in my work. My proband is a 22-year-old semi-professional floorball player. The anamnesis was taken in the form of an interview, during the kinesiological analysis I used aspect, anthropometry, goniometry and testing. Based on the results, I established a short-term physiotherapy plan that mainly uses the concepts of ACT, DNS, PNF, PIR, MOB and the Brügger concept. We met with the patient once a week, in total I implemented 7 interventions over a period of 7 weeks, each lasting about 45 minutes. At each therapy, we also agreed with the patient what would be appropriate to include in the training and what exercises and aids he can use at home as self-therapy. A week after the last therapy, an output kinesiology analysis was performed and an individual long-term physiotherapy plan was drawn up based on the results. Results: The results show that the muscle imbalances (shortened and hypertonic muscles) were successfully affected and the HSSP was strengthened. Changes were also evident in the examination of the dynamics of the spine, where it was possible to reduce the large lateral asymmetry from 8 to 6 cm. I also consider the removal of back pain and right elbow pain to be a significant positive result. Conclusions: In this work, the set goals and tasks of the work were fulfilled. A theoretical analysis was written with a summary of the professional literature, input and output kinesiology analyzes and control evaluation of selected parameters were performed. Thanks to the physiotherapy intervention, the patient's pain was affected and his condition improved.
