Awareness about the conditions of organ and tissue transplantations

Anotace:

Tématem této bakalářské práce je míra informovanosti o podmínkách transplantace orgánů a tkání. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, v první, teoretické části, je krátce zmíněna historie transplantací, základní principy a postupy transplantační politiky, podmínky transplantací od žijících a zemřelých dárců, rozdíly mezi opting-out a opting-in, platná legislativní úprava a statistiky transplantací, počtu dárců a čekací listiny. Praktická část je věnována kvantitativnímu výzkumu informovanosti veřejnosti, který probíhal formou anonymního dotazníku.

Abstract:

The topic of this bachelor’s thesis is the awareness about the conditions of organ and tissue transplantations. There are two parts of the thesis: the first part deals with the history, principles and procedures of transplantation policy, the conditions of transplantations from living and dead donors and the difference between opting-out and opting-in. The current legislation and statistic data of transplantations, number of donors and waiting lists are mentioned as well. The second part is dedicated to quantitative research of the public awareness about the topic with use of anonymous questionnaires.
