The Activity Clubs of Amateur Dramatics in Liberec in the Period After the Second World War

Abstract:

Zprávy o dějinách ochotnického divadla Liberci nejsou až do 19. století rozsáhlé. Změnu přineslo až vydání nové ústavy v roce 1867. Ta přinesla lidem mnohé svobody, díky kterým se začala rychle rozvíjet spolková činnost. V Liberci existovalo mnoho spolků. Mnoho z nich bylo náboženských, sportovních, hudebních nebo mělo jinou náplň. Tato bakalářská práce je výzkumem činnosti ochotnických spolků v Liberci v letech 1945- 1952. V první kapitole také stručně přibližuje dějiny veškeré spolkové činnosti a vývoje ochotnického divadelnictví v Liberci do roku 1945. Prameny k ní pocházejí ze Státního okresního archivu v Liberci. Z větší části jsou nezpracované. Pozornost je proto zaměřena především na dva spolky s největším množstvím dochovaného materiálu. Jsou jimi „Jan Durych“ z Liberce a „Karel Čapek“ z Doubí u Liberce. Zprávy o ostatních spolcích jsou stručné, proto bakalářská práce obsahuje pouze přehled těchto spolků a stručně popisuje jejich činnost. Je zde uvedena také instituce, pod kterou většina z těchto spolků patřila- „Šamánkův okrsek ÚMDOČ v Praze se sídlem v Liberci.“ V bakalářské práci se mimo jiné nachází jmenný rejstřík, seznam představenstva spolku a seznamy her sehraných spolky„Jan Durych“ a „Karel Čapek.“

Abstract:

The informations about history of amateur dramatics in Liberec are by the time 19.th century only brief. It changed a publication of new constitution in year 1867. The new constitution gave to people many liberties, that started a rapid distribution of club activity. In Liberec existed many clubs. Some of them were religious, sport s, musical or had any other specialization.This final thesis is a research of activity clubs of amateur dramatics in Liberec between years 1945- 1952. The first chapter explains to us the history of all club s activity and the progress of amateur dramatics in Liberec untill the year 1945. Sources for the work are from the State archive of the district of Liberec. Unfortunately, a majority of this sources is nt worked.The study is for this problem focused on the history of two of this clubs of amateur dramatics with lot of preserved material. Names of this clubs are „John Durych“ from Liberec and „Charles Čapek“ from Doubí close by Liberec. The informations about the others clubs are to short. That is why the study contained only summary of others clubs of amateur dramatics in Liberec and shortly described their work. The final thesis mentions also an institution, that was superior these clubs, „Šamánkův okrsek ÚMDOČ in Prag with residence in Liberec.
