After EU accession new Czech transport strategy for 2005-2013 has been adopted in response to European documents, particularly the White Paper of 2001-European transport policy for 2010 - time to decide etc. A modern trend in the EU is promoting alternative modes of transport, especially non-motorized transport in relation to environmental protection, sustainable transport and healthy life styles. …more
