Teacher´s personality from the perspective of secondary school students

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce s názvem Osobnost učitele z pohledu studentů SŠ se zabývá pohledem žáků střední školy na jejich učitele v době koronavirové pandemie. Cílem této práce je zjistit, jak se v souvislosti s distančním vzděláváním proměnil názor žáků střední školy na jejich vyučující s důrazem na jejich profesní kompetence a typ učitelů, který představují. Teoretická část práce se zabývá typologií učitelovy osobnosti, jeho profesními kompetencemi a distanční výukou zavedenou v souvislosti s šířením pandemie Covid-19. Empirická část pomocí kvalitativně orientovaného výzkumu popisuje žáky reflektovanou změnu v jejich pohledu na učitele v distanční výuce. Názor žáků na učitele dle typu jejich osobnosti se nezměnil. Žáci však s příchozí distanční výukou pocítili pozitivní změny v profesních kompetencích učitelů.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis, titled A Teacher's Personality From the Perspective of Secondary School Students, deals with the view of secondary school students on their teachers during the coronavirus pandemic. The aim of the thesis is to find out how the secondary school students' opinion on their teachers has changed in connection with distance learning. Emphasis has been put on teachers' professional competencies and the type of teacher they represent. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the typology of the teacher's personality, his professional competencies, and distance learning introduced as a result of the spreading of Covid-19. The empirical part uses qualitatively oriented research to describe students' reflected change in their view of teachers in distance learning. Students have not changed their view of teachers according to their personality type. However, with the incoming distance learning, the students have felt positive changes in the professional competencies of the teachers.
