Prosecutor's Office - specific aspects and role of the public prosecution body in our territory in the years 1948-1970 with a focus on selected prosecutor's offices of the South Moravian Region

Abstract:

Disertační práce se věnuje formování prokuratury, jakožto státního orgánu budovaného na našem území dle socialistického vzoru. Časově je práce zasazena do prvních dvaceti let existence socialistického Československa. Mimo přiblížení vývoje prokuratur na našem území z hlediska právního vývoje se práce zaměřuje i na konkrétní činnosti, které prokuratura vykonávala a pro které byla označována za strážce socialistické zákonnosti. Cílem disertační práce je přiblížit orgán veřejné žaloby z pohledu jedné konkrétní vývojové etapy, v rámci které vykonával i další specifické činnosti, pro které bývá dnešním pohledem často odsuzován. Podkladem k vypracování této disertační práce se z větší části stal archivní výzkum, prostřednictvím kterého práce přináší i určité původní informace, doposud nepublikované.

Abstract:

The dissertation is devoted to the formation of the prosecutor's office as a state body built on our territory according to the socialist model. In terms of time, the dissertation is set in the first twenty years of the exis-tence of socialist Czechoslovakia. In addition to approaching the development of prosecutor's offices in our territory from the point of view of legal development, the dissertation also focuses on specific activities that the prosecutor's office performed and for which it was called the guardian of socialist legality. The aim of the dissertation is to approach the public prosecution body from the point of view of one specific development phase, within which it also performed other specific activities, for which it is often condemned from today's point of view. For the most part of this dissertation was used the archival research, through which the dissertation also brings certain original information, so far unpublished.
