An analysis of the particular conditions for establishing the special class as a part of the small class primary school.

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem diplomové práce „Analýza podmínek pro vznik speciální třídy při malotřídní základní škole“ je zjistit názory učitelů mateřských škol, učitelů 1. stupně základních škol a rodičů dětí s lehkým mentálním postižením na nabídku škol v systému speciálního školství v regionu, zmapovat zda je potřebné zajistit pro děti se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami speciální třídu při málotřídní základní škole. Dílčím cílem diplomové práce je zanalyzovat názory pedagogů a rodičů na problematiku integrace, zjistit jejich stanovisko na připravenost škol běžného typu na proces integrace dítěte s lehkým mentálním postižením. Zmapovat pohled učitelů na spolupráci s rodiči a poradenskými pracovišti. Diplomová práce je tvořena čtyřmi kapitolami. První tři kapitoly tvoří teoretickou část a zabývají se vymezením a definicí mentálního postižení, edukací jedinců s mentálním postižením a specifikou rodiny dítěte s mentálním postižením. Ve čtvrté kapitole je prezentováno výzkumné šetření, cíl, metodologie a analýza získaných dat. Zvolila jsem metodu smíšeného výzkumného šetření - kvantitativního i kvalitativního výzkumu. Použila jsem empirické metody dotazníku a řízeného rozhovoru, které vedly ke stanovení závěrů diplomové práce.

Abstract:

The main goal of a thesis called: „ The analysis of conditions for creation of special class within the small class primary school“ is to find out particular opinions of kindergarden teachers, primary school teachers and parents of mild mental disability children on educational system offering in a system of special school in a region and subsequently to find out, if it is needed to provide for children having special educational needs a special class within the small class primary school. Partial goal of the thesis is to analyse opinions of teachers and parents on issues of integration, in terms of their attitude on readiness of normal type schools on a process of integration of a child having mild mental disability. Finally to monitor teachers attitude towards the cooperation with parents and special advisory commitees. There are four chapters in the thesis. First three theoretical chapters refers to the creation of definiton of mental disability, education of individuals with mental disability and the specification of child´s family having mental disability. In the fourth chapter, the survey, the goal and the methodology of the work are presented, together with an analysis of collected research data. I opted for the mixed method research survey – both quantitative and qualitative, using empirical methods such as questionnaire and guided interview, which led to results of the thesis.
