Conclusion of educational course as a critical situation

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou výchovně vzdělávacích kurzů pro dospívající a dospělé, které uplatňují principy a metody zážitkové pedagogiky a animační pedagogiky. Jejím hlavním zájmem je situace spojená s ukončením takového kurzu a s návratem účastníků do běžného domácího prostředí. Tato situace je prezentována jako potenciální krize, která zasahuje osobní prožívání účastníka kurzu a také jeho sociální vztahy s okolím. Bakalářská práce nejprve představuje teoretické koncepty použitelné k vysvětlení situací spojených s děním na kurzu a po něm. Dále se zabývá provedeným kvalitativním výzkumem, který se zabýval otázkou, jak účastníci prožívají závěr kurzu a návrat do běžného prostředí. Práce pak shrnuje pohled na výchovně vzdělávací kurzy a vysvětluje situace kolem ukončení kurzu a návratu domů nejen s využitím teoretických konceptů, ale opírá se při tom o empirická zjištění provedeného výzkumu. Vysvětluje přitom jednak aspekty, které se podílejí na tom, že účastníci prožívají kurz jako mimořádnou událost, jednak aspekty které se podílejí na tom, že účastníci prožívají návrat z kurzu jako krizi.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with educational courses for adolescents and adults that use the principals and methods of experiential education. Its main theme is the situation connected to the end of such a course and with return of the participants to their regular home environment. This situation is presented as a potential crisis stemming from the personal experience of the participants of the course and becoming evident in social relationships with the people around them. This bachelor thesis first introduces theoretical concepts useful for the explanation of the situation both during and after the course. It than deals with qualitative research orientated around how the participants are affected by the finishing of the course and their return to the regular environment. This thesis brings together an overview of educational courses and explains the situations around the end of the course and return home not only with theoretical concepts, but with the results revealed through the undertaken research. It shows factors which come into play for participants going through the course as an extraordinary event, and factors that can cause a crisis with the participant´s home-coming.
