Special Pedagogical Therapy for Education of Mentally Handicapped People

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřená na speciálně pedagogické terapie, jež jsou využívány v procesu edukace jedinců s mentálním postižením. Teoretická část je rozdělena do tří hlavních kapitol, které jsou dále členěny na podkapitoly. První kapitola definuje mentální retardaci, etiologii mentální retardace, zvláštnosti projevů jedinců s tímto druhem postižení a klasifikaci mentální retardace. Druhá kapitola nese název psychoterapie. Tato kapitola pojednává o psychoterapii, vymezuje pojem a definuje psychoterapii, popisuje cíle, druhy a metody psychoterapie, jež tvoří základ pro ostatní terapie využívající se v procesu výchovy a vzdělávání. Třetí kapitola pojednává o speciálně pedagogických terapiích. Poskytuje ucelený náhled do světa terapií, definuje a vymezuje jednotlivé terapie, zaměřuje se na jejich cíle, klasifikace, metody, jež jsou používány v procesu edukace a popisuje, jak určitá terapie působí na jedince s postižením. V praktické části je formulován cíl práce, dále je charakterizován výzkumný vzorek a metodologie výzkumu zvolená pro tento výzkum, následné vyhodnocení výzkumného šetření a závěr. Výzkumné šetření je realizováno v zařízeních ústavní péče pro jedince s mentálním postižením a to Ostrava ? Barevný svět, Opava ? Sírius, Pržno ? Náš svět, Krnov - Harmonie a Hlučín ? Fontána.

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on special pedagogical therapies used in the process of education of mentally disabled people. The theoretical part is divided into three main chapters which are further subdivided. The first chapter defines mental retardation, etiology of mental retardation, special symptoms of people with this kind of disability and a classification of mental retardation. The second chapters is called psychotherapy. This chapter deals with a psychotherapy, defines the term psychotherapy, describes the aims, kinds and methods of psychotherapy which form the basis for other therapies used in the process of education. The third chapter deals with the special pedagogical therapies. It gives a compact overview of the world of therapies, defines individual therapies, focuses on their aims, classification, methods used in the process of education and describes how particular therapy works upon individual with disability. There is the aim of the thesis formulated in the practical part, there is a describtion of research sample, a research methodology chosen for this research, an evaluation of the research investigation (examination) and a conclusion. The research examination is carried out in the care facilities for mentally disabled people, namely Ostrava ? Barevný svět, Opava ? Sírius, Pržno ? Náš svět, Krnov ? Harmonie, Hlučín ? Fontána.
