Integration of children from children´s homes into society

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá integrací dětí z dětských domovů do společnosti. V teoretické části práce je věnována pozornost vývoji osobnosti dětí a jejich zařazení do dospělého života. Důraz je kladen na popis problematiky dětských domovů, včetně umísťování dětí do této institucionální výchovy a jejich odchodu ze zařízení, se zřetelem na pomoc těmto jedincům při integraci do společnosti, ať již ze strany vychovatelů, nebo v rámci pomoci státu a neziskových organizací. Cílem práce je zjistit, jaký dopad má na děti a mladistvé život v dětských domovech a jaké možnosti tito jedinci mají při začleňování do společnosti po opuštění dětského domova. V praktické části je popsán kvalitativní výzkum realizovaný formou rozhovorů ve vybraných dětských domovech. Ke zpracování získaných dat byla užita zakotvená teorie. Součástí práce je i doporučení pro praxi.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the integration of children from children´s homes into society. The theoretical part is devoted to the development of the child´s personality and integration of children into the adult life. The focus of the theoretical part is on describing the topic of children´s homes, including the placement of children in the institutional care and their departure from the facility, with a view to helping these individuals to integrate into society, whether by educators, or in the context help of state and nonprofit organizations. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to determine what impact it has on children and adolescents living in children´s homes and what opportunities these individuals have in integrating into society after leaving the children´s home. In the practical part is described qualitative research carried out in the form of interviews in selected children´s homes. For processing the obtained data was used grounded theory. The work also includes recommendations for practice.
