Education of style (taste) - the preferences in style of children and teenagers of today, identification, identity, performativity, work with a good design in the education of art

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce Vkusová výchova - vkusové preference dnešních dětí a mládeže. (Identifikace, identita, performativita, metodika práce s dobrým designem ve výtvarné výchově.) je s využitím vybraných metod zkoumání analyzovat, jaké jsou vkusové preference dnešních dětí a mládeže, jak zacházejí s dobrým vkusem a sledují ho, jak ho definují a sami budují, pod vlivem médií a vlivů z okolí a společnosti. Zároveň tato práce analyzuje vkusovou výchovu, zdali existuje na školách, kde je ukotvena, jak se liší od původního historického konceptu a jak tento nástroj využívají současní pedagogičtí pracovníci. To vše s ohledem na minulost a s porovnáváním v historickém kontextu. Práce obsahuje šetření v terénu, tedy na školách v Plzni a přilehlém okolí, dále pak šetření a mapování médií, která jsou určena pro děti a mládež, zejména časopisy, weby, blogy a tiskoviny, které vycházejí na školách a pomáhají v rozvoji vkusu, identity a procesu identifikace.

Abstract:

Aim of my diploma thesis is taste education - tastes (style) and preferences of contemporary child and teenagers in categories: identity, performance, methodology. Work with good quality of design in art education is base for analyze of selected methodological methods. Aims of analyze are types of taste preferences in case of contemporary child and teenagers: how they working with good taste (style), are they able to find, define and build this good taste under the influence of media and social environment around. Also this thesis is going to analyze taste education in context of existence in school's areas, where their base is and how pedagogical workers are able to use it during the practice. Thesis also contains practical research in area of schools in Plzen and terrains around and later research and mapping media (dedicated for child and teenagers), mainly magazines, brochures, websites and blogs. Out of all these information this part of thesis has data about contemporary creating of tastes and taste (style) education (from own research) which I compare with authors from fields of modern pedagogy, and with magazines and papers published in schools which are helped in process of taste's development, forming of identity and process of self-identification.
