Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem problematické státnosti Bosny a Hercegoviny a Kosova. Autor se snaží dokázat, že tyto útvary jsou produktem intervence mezinárodního společenství v postjugoslávském prostoru a nenaplňují obecnou definici moderního suverénního státu. Text je rozdělen na teoretickou, historickou a analytickou část. V teoretické části je představen koncept státní suverenity, jeho historický původ a především současné vnímání v teorii mezinárodních vztahů. Historická část práce hledá kořeny dnešní bosenské a kosovské státnosti v moderních dějinách západních Balkánu. Jádrem stěžejní analytické části je studie současné státnosti Bosny a Hercegoviny a Republiky Kosovo z hlediska široce uznávané teoretické definice státu a následná komparace zjištěných poznatků.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of the problematic statehood of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo. The author tries to prove that these entities are products of the international engagement in the Post-Yugoslav territory and don´t correspond with the general definition of modern sovereign state. The text is divided into three parts, theoretical, historical and analytic. The theoretical part introduces the concept of state sovereignty, its historical origin and especially the contemporary interpretation within the theory of international relations. The historical part aims at finding the roots of the present Bosnian and Kosovo statehood in modern history of the western Balkans. The core of the analytic part, which is the fundamental part of the thesis, is composed of a study of the present statehood of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Kosovo from the perspective of the widely acknowledged theoretical definition of a state and a comparison of collected data and information.
