Práce komplexně shrnuje teoretické poznatky o náhradním mateřství. This master thesis summarizes theoretical knowledge of surrogacy. This thesis deals with surrogacy from the medical and legal points of view; it also takes into account psychosocial impact on the participants involved in this process and primarily it tries to outline the most important ethical issues associated with this institute of surrogacy.
