Pupils' attitudes towards habit-forming substances and its prevention

Abstract:

Anotace Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na problematiku návykových látek substančního typu a s ní související preventivní opatření u vzorku žáků druhého stupně základní školy. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda a s jakou frekvencí se ve vzorku žáků a v jejich okolí užívají různé typy drog včetně tzv. legálních, jakým způsobem jsou získávány, jaké důvody k experimentům vedly, jaké jsou názory a postoje dotazovaných. Dalším cílem je zmapování školních preventivních opatření a jejich efektu. V teoretické části jsou zahrnuty základní pojmy spojené s návykovými látkami, historie drog, charakteristika nejčastěji užívaných substancí. Dále je teoretická část věnována protidrogové prevenci a léčbě uživatelů návykových látek. V praktické části je realizován průzkum kvantitativního charakteru pomocí dotazníku, jímž byl osloven vzorek žáků 9. tříd několika vybraných ZŠ. Je zde uveden cíl práce, hypotézy, charakteristika zkoumaného vzorku a místa zkoumání. Dále následuje výzkumná činnost, analýza hypotéz a závěr výzkumného šetření. Samotný závěr bakalářské práce tvoří závěr, následuje shrnutí, seznam použité literatury, seznam tabulek a grafů a příloha.

Abstract:

Annotation This bachelor thesis deals with the problem of addictive substance drugs and related preventative measures among a sample of lower secondary school pupils. Its aims are to find out how frequent the use of drugs is (including the legal ones) in and out of the sample, to describe the ways the pupils get drugs, to show the reasons for experimenting with them and to oversee the attitudes and opinions of the interviewees. Another goal is to go through the school preventative measures and their effects. Basic terminology including addictive drugs, the history of drugs and the features of the most frequently used substances are described in the theoretical part. It also discusses the topics of drug prevention and addiction treatment. A survey based on a quantitative questionnaire is realized in the practical part. A group of lower secondary school pupils was asked. You can find the target of the work, hypotheses, the characteristics of the sample and the places of the survey in this part. These are followed by research activities, the analysis of hypotheses and conclusions. The end of the bachelor thesis consists of conclusion, summary, the list of literature, the list of charts, graphs and appendices.
