The possibilities of developing selected competencies of clients of the asylum houses for mothers with children

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je tematicky orientována na problematiku rozvoje vybraných kompetencí u klientek azylových domů pro matky s dětmi, a to prostřednictvím realizace sociálně pedagogických intervencí. Teoretická východiska práce vycházejí z aktuálních poznatků v oblasti problematiky sociální stratifikace a důležitých aspektů sociálního vyloučení. Dále problematiky sociálních služeb poskytovaných osobám ohroženým sociálním vyloučením, se zvláštním zřetelem na služby azylových domů. Pozornost je věnována také problematice osobnostních a sociálních kompetencí a možnostem jejich rozvoje. V rámci empirické části práce je prezentováno kvalitativně orientované empirické šetření, jehož cílem bylo zjistit, jaké postupy či metody využívají sociální pedagogové či sociální pracovníci v oblasti rozvoje vybraných kompetencí uživatelek azylových domů pro matky s dětmi. Data byla získána prostřednictvím polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s pracovníky azylových domů. Na podkladě dosažených zjištění byly formulovány závěry a doporučení, která jsou využitelná v praxi sociální pedagogiky a dalších disciplín z okruhu takzvaných pomáhajících profesí.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is thematically oriented on the issue of development of selected competencies in clients of asylum houses for mothers with children, through the implementation of social pedagogical interventions. The theoretical basis of this bachelor stems from current knowledge in the field of social stratification issues and important aspects of social exclusion. And the issue of social services provided to persons at risk of social exclusion, with particular regard to the services of asylum homes, as well. Particular attention is also paid to the issues of personal and social competencies and the possibilities of their development. The empirical part of the bachelor thesis presents a qualitatively oriented empirical survey aimed at finding, out which procedures or methods are used by social educators or social workers in the field of development of selected competences of users of asylum houses for mothers with children. The data was obtained through semi-structured interviews with workers from asylum homes. Based on the findings, conclusions and recommendations applicable in the practice of social pedagogy and other disciplines from the circle of assisting professions have been formulated.
