Children's perception of work, psychosocial determinants and consequences

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou vnímání pracovního světa dětmi různých věkových skupin, což bylo cílem této práce a dále zjišťuje, jaké jsou důsledky rodinného prostředí a pracovních návyků rodičů ovlivňující jejich vnímání konceptu práce. Data byla získávána prostřednictvím kvantitativního a kvalitativního šetření, a následně analyzována korelační a tematickou analýzou. Bylo zjištěno, že pozitivní rodinná atmosféra podporuje u dětí vnímání práce s větší motivací a pozitivnějším pohledem. Naopak, stresující pracovní prostředí rodičů může vést k negativním dopadům. Výsledky ukazují, že je dětské vnímání práce také ovlivněno ekonomickými, sociálními a psychologickými aspekty, jež vyžadují integraci pracovních hodnot a podporu ve výchovně-vzdělávacím procesu. Práce doporučuje podporu zaměřenou na pozitivní rodinné prostředí a osvětu o významu práce pro osobní a profesní rozvoj.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with the analysis of the perception of the working world by children of different age groups and finds out how the family environment and work habits of the parents influence their perception of work. Data were obtained through quantitative and qualitative research, and subsequently analyzed using correlational and thematic analyses. It was found out that a positive family atmosphere supports children's perception of work with greater motivation and a more positive outlook. Conversely, a stressful work environment of parents can lead to a negative perception of work by children. The results show that children's perception of work is influenced by a combination of economic, social and psychological aspects that require the integration of work values and support in a wide range educational process. The work recommends higher focus on a positive family ambience and enlightenment about the importance of work for personal and professional development.
