Anticariogenic properties of proteins contained in human milk
Abstract:
Zubní kaz je stále jedno z nejrozšířenějších onemocnění na světě. Tato práce rozebírá jak příčiny, tak pozitivní i negativní faktory, které mohou ovlivnit jeho vznik. Zejména se dotýká problematiky kojení a mateřského mléka. Obsahem praktické části je pilotní experiment inhibiční kultivace vybraných bakterií pomocí bílkoviny laktoferinu.
Abstract:
Dental caries is still one of the most widespread desease in the world. This thesis discusses causes and positive and negative factors of its origin. Particularly, it deals with breastfeeding and human breast milk. The practical part then contains a pilot experiment of inhibition of selected bacteria using lactoferrin protein.
