Modelling of chosen objects in Google SketchUp for the needs of fire protection.

Abstract:

V užším pojetí je cílem této práce vizualizovat objekt budoucího operačního střediska, v areálu centrální stanice Hasičského záchranného sboru Pardubického kraje, na základě návrhové studie. Model budovy by však měl být použit nejen jako podpora pro realizační fázi projektu, ale také názorně ukázat možnost praktického využití modelování v programu Google SketchUp v oblasti požární ochrany. Do obsahu je proto zařazen i stručný přehled jednotek požární ochrany v České republice, včetně souvisejících úkolů a kompetencí. V rámci práce je dále nastíněn princip 3D modelování a vizualizace objektů, výběr dostupných počítačových programu, se zaměřením na použitou aplikaci Google SketchUp a příklady konkrétního použití modelování v požární ochraně. Podrobněji je popsán postup při modelaci vlastního objektu, stávajících budov a celkové vizualizaci areálu hasičské stanice v Pardubicích. Hlavní budova operačního střediska však byla jako jediná také převedena do 3D animace. V samotném závěru jsou potom uvedeny možnosti využití tohoto modelu i jeho animace v praxi požární ochrany a obecně pro potřeby Hasičského záchranného sboru.

Abstract:

In the narrower sense the aim of this work is to visualize the building of a future operating centre in the area of Central Fire Station of Pardubice Region based on a design study. The model building, however, should be used not only as some support for the implementation phase of the project, but also as an example of the practical use of modelling in Google SketchUp for fire protection. Therefore a brief overview of fire brigade units in the Czech Republic including their tasks and competencies is included into the thesis. The work also deals with the principles of 3D modelling and visualization of objects, the selection of available computer programs focused on the use of Google SketchUp and the examples of utilization of modelling in fire protection. The process of modelling of the main bulding, the existing buildings and the overall visualization of fire station complex in Pardubice is described in more details. Only the main building of the operation centre was transferred into 3D animation. The possibilities of using this model and its animation in the practice of fire protection and for the needs of the Fire Brigade in general are given at the very end.
