Attributes of Cuban Design

Abstract:

Obsahem této práce je seznámení se s kubánskou kulturou, díky níž čtenář lépe pochopí praktickou část, kterou je autorský cestopis z Kuby. Teoretická část stručně popisuje historii a současnost Kubánské republiky, na kterou navazuje část o grafickém designu na Kubě a umění karibských ostrovů. Aby mohl vzniknout design, který by esteticky doprovázel autorský cestopis, bylo zapotřebí sepsat příhodné informace do kapitoly "Asociace Kuby a Karibiku". Praktická část představuje autorskou knihu, která byla vizuálně inspirována referencemi z Teoretické části.

Abstract:

The content of this thesis is an introduction to Cuban culture, which will help reader to better understand the practical part, which is the author's travelogue from Cuba. The theoretical part briefly describes the history and present of the Republic of Cuba, followed by a section about graphic design in Cuba and the art of the Caribbean islands. In order to create a design that would aesthetically accompany the author's travelogue, it was necessary to write down pertinent information in the chapter "Association of Cuba and the Caribbean". The practical part shows the result of the author's book, which was visually inspired by references from the Theoretical Part.
