This diploma thesis compares the behvior and abiding of neutrality in Sweden and Ice-land during the World War II. It shows what characteristics were for countries different and which ones were the same. Theory of neutrality is based on international law and ex-plains basic priciples and behavior of neutrality. Táto magisterská práca porovnáva priebeh a dodržiavanie neutrality vo Švédsku a na Is-lande počas druhej svetovej vojny. Poukazuje na odlišné a spoločné znaky politiky týchto škandinávskych štátov. Teória neutrality vychádza z medzinárodného práva a vysvetľuje základné princípy a fungovanie neutrality.
