In the thesis we analyse culture in the town Prievidza and its future development. In the introductory part we define the basic theoretical concepts followed by the general profile of the town with its historical transformation. V magisterskej diplomovej práci analyzujeme kultúru v meste Prievidza a jej následný rozvoj. V úvodnej časti práce vymedzujeme základné teoretické pojmy, po ktorých nasleduje všeobecný profil mesta s jeho historickou premenou.
