Company strategy and its implementation through the balanced scorecard method

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce „Strategie podniku a její implementace prostřednictvím metody Balanced Scorecard“ je strategická analýza stávajícího stavu zkoumaného podniku, navržení vhodné strategie rozvoje tohoto podniku a doporučení pro implementaci strategie prostřednictvím metody Balanced Scorecard do podnikového řízení. V úvodu práce je stanoven její cíl a akcentována důležitost souladu strategického a operativního řízení. V teoretické části jsou charakterizovány dále využité metody analýzy okolí a interního prostředí podniku. Dále je zvláštní prostor věnován nástrojům SWOT analýzy a Balanced Scorecard, které jsou hodnoceny. Praktická část obsahuje strategickou analýzu konkrétního podniku za použití nástrojů z teoretické části a navržení optimální strategie pro jeho rozvoj. Následně jsou přednesena doporučení pro implementaci této strategie do podnikového řízení prostřednictvím metody Balanced Scorecard. V rámci této části jsou identifikovány dílčí strategické cíle s ukazateli a sestrojena podoba strategické mapy s harmonogramem implementace.

Abstract:

The subject of submitted diploma thesis „Company strategy and its implementation through the Balanced Scorecard method“ is strategic analysis of current company´s state, suggestion of suitable development strategy and recommendation for strategy implementation into company´s management through the Balanced Scorecard method. In the introduction there is main goal of the thesis set and importance of concordance between strategic and operational management is accentuated. Exploited methods of analysis of corporate external and internal environment are described in theoretical section. The particular space is dedicated to SWOT analysis and Balanced Scorecard method, which are assessed. The practical part composes of strategic analysis of a particular company and suggestion of the suitable development strategy on the basis of used tools in theoretical part. Subsequently there are recommendations for strategy implementation through Balanced Scorecard stated. Within this part there are fractional goals with relevant pointers identified and the strategy map with the schedule of implementation are constructed.
