Electoral geography of a municipality Vendryně in local elections between 1990-2018

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je analýza výsledků voleb do zastupitelstva obce Vendryně mezi lety 1990 a 2018. Na úvod je v práci teoretická část věnována popisu volební geografie ve světě i v Česku. Následuje krátký popis obce Vendryně a teoretické přiblížení voleb do zastupitelstev obcí. V hlavní části práce jsou popsány výsledky voleb v jednotlivých letech a výsledky v jednotlivých okrscích obce. Poté byla zanalyzována podpora kandidujících stran v letech včetně porovnání stran také je součástí práce hledání typických voličů stran. V závěru práce jsou porovnávány volební výsledky ve Vendryni s výsledky několika dalších obcí a s celostátními výsledky.

Abstract:

The aim of this diploma thesis is to analysis results of local elections of municipality Vendryně between 1990 - 2018. At first the thesis focuses on description of electoral geography in the world and in the Czech republic. Than short description of municipality Vendryně and theory of local elections follows. Primarily, the results of elections in election years and results in election districts are discribed. Than support of political parties in years is analysed and typical voters of parties are searched. At the end, results of municipality Vendryně with results of other municipalities and with whole country are compared.
