Increasing Mutual Trust Between Employer and Employee in a Selected Company

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to analyze the trust between the employer and the employees in the selected company. It deals with the literature sources about the trust between the employer and the employees and it focuses on whether this trust can influence job satisfaction, employee's turnover intentions, what the antecedents of trust are. The practical part focuses on the verification of specific facts from literature sources in the selected company and pursues to answer the research questions such as if the trust between the employer and the employees has influence on job satisfaction or the turnover intentions, if leadership behaviour has influence on trust and to analyze the current state of the employees' trust in their employer. The interview and the questionnaire survey were the methods used for the research and the findings prove that the employer - employee trust has influence on job satisfaction, turnover intentions and that leadership behaviour is the antecedent of trust. The research shows that the perceived state of employees' trust is evaluated as an average. The recommendations for change were provided.

Cíl bakalářské práce je analyzovat důvěru mezi zaměstnancem a zaměstnavatelem ve vybrané firmě. První část bakalářské práce se zabývá literární rešerší na téma důvěra mezi zaměstnancem a zaměstnavatelem a řeší, jak důvěra mezi zaměstnancem a zaměstnavatelem ovlivňuje spokojenost v práci a jestli má vliv na úmysly zaměstnanců opustit organizaci, a také, jaké faktory předcházejí důvěře. V praktické části se pak ověřují některá fakta z teoretické části, a to ve vybraném podniku, a odpovídá se na výzkumné otázky, zda má důvěra mezi zaměstnancem a zaměstnavatelem vliv na spokojenost v práci, úmysl opustit podnik, zda na ni má vliv chování managementu a primárně se zde snaží analyzovat stav důvěry zaměstnance v zaměstnavatele. Pro tento výzkum byly použity metody dotazníkového šetření a rozhovoru. Bylo vyzkoumáno, že důvěra mezi zaměstnancem a zaměstnavatelem má vliv na spokojenost v práci a na úmysly opustit organizaci, a že chování managementu opravdu ovlivňuje výši této důvěry. Zjistilo se, že zaměstnanci jsou v práci průměrně spokojeni a nakonec byla dána doporučení ke zlepšení situace.
