Cílem diplomové práce je analyzovat diplomatické styky mezi Československem a Vatikánem po druhé světové válce. Práce se zaměřuje na reakci Svatého stolce na nástup Komunistické strany Československa k moci v únoru 1948, který byl spojen s perzekucí Římskokatolické církve v 50. letech. Abstract:
The aim of the thesis is to analyse the diplomatic relations between Czechoslovakia and the Holy See after the Second World War. The thesis focuses on the Holy See's reaction to the rise of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia to power in February 1948, coupled with the persecution of the Roman Catholic Church in the 1950s.
