Sylvia Plath: A radio feature

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je tvorba rozhlasového literárního pásma o americké básnířce a spisovatelce Sylvii Plathové určeného pro cyklus Schůzky s literaturou, který vysílá stanice Český rozhlas 3 Vltava. Teoretická část práce se snaží přiblížit žánr rozhlasového pásma, jeho historický vývoj, specifika a stěžejní rysy. Další části teorie se pak věnují prezentaci literatury na rozhlasových vlnách a pojmenování specifik rozhlasového média. Tvůrčí část práce reflektuje proces, který vedl k vytvoření rozhlasového pásma. Literární rozhlasové pásmo o Sylvii Plathové trvá 28 minut a 16 vteřin.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to create a radio feature about Sylvia Plath, American writer and poetess. The feature is for the radio show called Schůzky s literaturou, aired on Czech radio station 3 Vltava. The theoretical chapter of the thesis is focused on describing the genre of radio feature, its historical development and main features. Other parts of theoretical chapter are dealing with the various forms of literature how it is presented in Czech radio stations, and with the focus on specifics of radio as a medium. The other chapter of the thesis is describing the process which led to creating the feature. Literary radio feature about Sylvia Plath lasts 28 minutes and 16 seconds.
