Čína a Indie jsou aktuálně jedny z nejrychleji se rozvíjejících ekonomik světa. Díky více či méně zdařilým reformám za posledních 30 let v případě Číny a 15 let v případě Indie, ustanovené za účelem propojení se s okolním světem, neustále vzrůstá jejich světový význam.
